Foreign portfolio investors sold about ₹4.57 billion of Indian shares on Monday, ending a three‑day buying streak. Meanwhile, cash market turnover fell 21.5% to ₹974.58 billion, roughly 7% below November’s average daily volume.
Trading tends to slow toward the end of the year as investors focus on holidays in the U.S. and Europe. Asian markets and precious metals are up, and an early U.S. GDP reading is expected later today.
